What the heck is a CSA?
Imagine fresh, local chicken.. ALL THE TIME!
A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is an agreement between the customer and farmer that ensures a regular supply of fresh, healthy food. CSA "shares" are purchased before the growing season starts, providing upfront funds for the farmer to grow your food and guarantees the sale of that food.
This symbiotic "subscription" benefits both parties - customers are guaranteed regular orders of the freshest food and farmers receive a steady source of income for the season.
Our Come Again Farm Chicken CSA is a monthly subscription that offers a curated selection of chicken products once per month, running from June to November. Each CSA share is unique and may include whole chickens or a variety of chicken cuts (breasts, thighs, wings, ground). Each share contains $60 worth of chicken, and will vary in weight (whole chickens are cheaper per pound than boneless breasts).
CSA "Pickup Parties" are hosted on the last Thursday of the month from 4-6pm and members may enjoy snacks, time to socialize, meet your farmer, farm tours, kids activities or marshmallows over the fire.
